So, a little about me... I'm pretty much you're average Jolene with a mild obsession with films, music and books. And also food and cooking and pretty pictures. So a whole bunch of everything really! But I have a rather eccentric taste in these things to the point of obscurity, especially when it comes to movies and books. So in conclusion, I'm a little weird. But I guess you'll find that out along the way.
I'm also a science student, one of those "professional" ones that stay students for life. I'm (hopefully) nearing the end of my thesis, though I've become really expert in the art of procrastination lately. I'll have to admit, the whole Big Bang Theory scenario is based on some truth. My lab is made up of a bunch of geeks (I dearly love them all) who laugh about neurons and other equally nerdy things. It has its perks though - travel, flexible hours, student discounts, and an excuse to drink whatever, whenever.
